After the birth of her first child, Denise Morgan experiences the rapid onset of postpartum psychosis. As she becomes entranced with the extreme ramblings of a Christian preacher on the radio, her condition worsens and she’s plagued by feelings of inadequacies as a wife and mother. Her husband, not understanding the seriousness of her condition, leaves her home alone with the children, where Denise’s psychosis reaches a critical and irreversible apex.
